Board of Directors
Many of you may not know that our Co-op has a board of directors. Each Board member is an owner of our Co-op and therefore has a vested interest in seeing our Co-op succeed. Our Board is a diverse group of people from different walks of life and with a variety of skills and life experiences to bring to the table. Collectively, the Board of Directors is responsible for setting store goals and providing a clear vision to guide our Co-op into the future. Each year 3 seats open up for re-election which allows new people to come on to the board with 6 positions continuing on with an incumbent. This ensures a stable board and smooth transitions.
The Board holds monthly meetings
that are open to the public. Owners are
encouraged to attend these meetings to stay current on what is going on behind
the scenes of their business. We
currently meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the conference room
upstairs at the Co-op.
