Donations
Contributing to, and being part of, the local community is important to us. This is why our Co-op donates to a variety of causes and organizations. Preference is given to local, non-profit, and cooperative efforts. Donation requests are granted on a first-come first-served basis, funds permitting.
To be considered for funding, your event MUST support one of the following:
- Healthy Eating/Healthy Lifestyles
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Holistic Health
- Energy Conservation
- Promotion of Cooperative Values and/or Cooperative Business Model
Applications submitted less than 2 weeks prior to the event date will not be considered. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
The Marquette Food Co-op does not donate to events that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, physical disability, or to those that are designed to advance or promote a particular religious belief or political party.
