Donation Requests
Participating in the local community is important to the Marquette Food Co-op, which is why we donate to a variety of causes and organizations. Preference is given to local, non-profit, and cooperative efforts. Donation requests are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, funds permitting. Applications submitted less than 2 weeks prior to the event date will not be considered. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
To be considered for funding, the event must support at least one of the following.
- Wellness
- Sustainable/local agriculture
- Environmental Stewardship
- Promotion of cooperative values and/or cooperative business model
- Community Leadership
The Marquette Food Co-op does not sponsor individuals or teams. Nor do we donate to events that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or physical disability, or to events designed to advance/promote a particular religious belief or political party.
