Nothing smells like home more than the aroma of freshly baked bread. And bread made with your own hands is relaxing and rewarding. In this class, participants will learn to make Ciabatta, a rustic Italian Bread with large interior holes and a crisp exterior. Named for the shape of the bread (meaning slipper), it’s a simple first bread that can be mixed by hand, no mixer required. No traditional kneading either, simply stretch and fold every 20 minutes. With only a sourdough poolish to start the night before, this is the perfect bread you can make for dinner in 3 hours while doing other things.
