Welcome to Co-op Grocery Pickup

We know you’re busy, so we want to make shopping at the MFC easy for you. Simply select your groceries, pick them up curbside or in the store, and enjoy! There are no fees and ownership is not required to use it.

Co-op Grocery Pickup FAQ

Do I need to be a Co-op Owner to shop?

No, but you do need to create an account online. Simply click on create an account in the webstore. If you are a Co-op Owner, you automatically have an account linked to the email we have on file for you and will just need to create a password. We strongly encourage owners to verify their email address on file with the Co-op before setting up an account so we can ensure your online purchases are associated with your ownership account. We have staff available to verify email addresses on file. Simply call 906-225-0671. If you have already made an account and are not sure if it is linked to your ownership account, email customerservice@marquettefood.coop.

I’m a Co-op Owner and don’t know what email is associated with my account. How do I sign up?

While you can sign up as a new owner and have us merge your account in the store, we can get you set up right away if you call 906-225-0671. Our customer service representatives will connect you with someone to help set up your account.

What happens after my order is placed?

You will receive a confirmation email that your order has successfully been placed. Our team will then work on gathering and packing your items. All you have to do is show up at the time that you signed up to pick up your groceries. If you are picking up curbside, park in the main lot and give us a call at the number posted on the parking sign to let us know you have arrived.

What if I need to add an item after my order has already been placed?

At this time, depending on order volume for the day, we are usually able to accommodate addition requests. Customers may call 906-225-0671 to add items to their order.

How much time before my order is ready to be picked up?

Pickups are scheduled through the site and the time will vary based on the volume of business. Orders need to be placed by 3:30 pm for same-day pick-up. There is a 3 hour lead time.

How far in advance can I place my order?

Orders may be placed as far out as five days.

Will I receive Owner Rewards for placing orders online?

Yes, but only if your online account is linked to your owner account. Not sure it is? Give us a call at 906-225-0671.  Your online account will even allow you to view past orders and your Owner Rewards point balance.

How do I place an order?

Visit shop.marquettefood.coop and create an account (or sign into your existing account), then add items to your cart. When you’re done shopping, click on the cart icon on the top right corner of the browser to check out.

PRODUCT

Are there any store items unavailable online?

Most, but not all, of our items in the store are available online. If you’re having trouble finding a product, use the “Can’t Find Something?” button to add a description of the item. If we have it, we’ll add it to your order and confirm with you during check out. Some wellness items, including CBD products, are also not available. Some bulk items, meat, and cheese, are now available.

Do you substitute products?

There may be times we need to substitute products. When that happens, we will keep those items separate from the rest of your order. During pickup, we will review the substitutions and you can decide which to accept or decline. Your grocery order total will be adjusted to reflect these changes.

What about produce that is priced by the pound?

Produce items that are priced by the pound are available, though the weight and price may vary slightly. You will need to choose the weight of the product from the options on the drop-down menu.

If you’re choosing produce by the each (i.e. 5 apples) please indicate your choice in the item instructions (in your shopping cart, click on “add item instructions” and indicate how much of the product you’d like).  This will override your weight selection if they do not match.

How do I avoid receiving all my produce in plastic bags?

Unless otherwise noted, we will put your produce in plastic bags. To avoid this, please write “no plastic bags” in the individual item note for at least one produce item. We will then avoid plastic bags for all your produce.

The picture doesn’t match the product name. What’s up?

Our photos are from a central database that may not match up perfectly. It will take time to fix mismatches with such a large inventory. The product name is the accurate reflection of what you are purchasing. Feel free to let us know if you see something that doesn’t match so we can fix it.

PAYMENT

Is there a fee?

There is no fee to use Co-op Grocery Pickup.

How do I pay?

You can pay online using a credit or debit card or you can pay in the store when you come to pick up your groceries. When choosing curbside pickup, you must pay in advance online or with a check. Cash will not be accepted. EBT card users will have to pay inside the store. Unfortunately, EBT payments cannot be accepted online, so curbside pickup orders will still need to be paid for inside the store or over the phone. To use a Co-op gift card, Owner Rewards, or Double Up Food Bucks, you will need to choose pay with check and we will apply your other tenders when you arrive for pickup.

PICKUP

What are the hours of pickup?

Co-op Grocery Pickup is currently available 11am-6pm each day.

How will I know when my order is ready?

At checkout, you’ll choose a window of time you’d like to pick up your order. Unless you receive a phone call from us, you can assume your order is ready at the time you selected during check out.

Where do I go to get my order?

For in-store pickup, please go to our Customer Service Desk, located in the front of the store, to get your order.

For curbside pickup, please park in one of our parking spaces near the door. DO NOT park at the curb in front of the main entrance, as this backs up traffic and blocks other vehicles in the lot.

After parking, call us at the number listed on the sign to let us know you’ve arrived or call before you leave with your estimated arrival time, and we will bring your groceries out. EBT users may pay over the phone at the time of pick-up. For curbside pickup orders, please have space cleared in your backseat or trunk for your groceries. For the safety of our employees, please do not bring any pets along with you. Should there be pets in the vehicle when you arrive, you will be required to load the groceries into the car. Staff is unable to assist.

What if I can’t get to the store to pick up my order?

Please contact the Customer Service Desk at 225-0671 to let us know. Orders that are not picked up within 48 hours will be placed back in inventory.

Can someone else pick up my order for me?

Yes, but you must share the name of the person picking the groceries. They should be prepared to show their ID at pickup.

Can I bring my own bag?

We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate people bringing their own bags for online orders.

Is there delivery?

We are sorry but delivery is not available at this time.
