MFC Annual Owner’s Meeting

Attention Marquette Food Co-op Owners: You are invited to attend our Annual Owner’s Meeting and Social!  Join us Friday, March 31st at 5:30 pm for this family-friendly dinner, social, and “State of our Co-op” meeting with the recently elected Marquette Food Co-op Board of Trustees.  The meal is provided by Simply Superior catering “Small Plates From Around the World” with something for everything including vegan and gluten-free options.  There will be live music from Wildhack, a cash bar featuring Michigan beer and wine, and great raffle prizes including a $500 gift certificate to REI. This event will be held in the Great Lakes Rooms, NMU University Center.  Admission is free for kids 12 & under, and $5 for adults.  Invite your friends and RSVP on our Facebook event page!

REI Grand Prize: The Marquette Food Co-op won a Fair-Trade themed display contest between other co-ops in our national organization, National Cooperative Grocers, last October. The prize for this competition was a $500 gift card to REI (which is also a cooperatively owned business!) and we’ve chosen to raffle it off to our owners! Don’t miss your chance to enter!
